Omaha Poker
The game of Omaha Poker will begin once the two players to the left of the dealer have both placed into the pot both a Big Blind and a Small Blind,
the value being determined by the stakes of the game once this has been done then the four pocket cards will be dealt out to each player.
The betting round will always start with the player who is sitting to the left of the Big Blind player. Be aware that as all of the blinds are bets, as opposed to
antes, this means that players can not check in the first betting round like in Texas Hold'Em they can only fold, call or raise.
After the first round has been dealt and the bets/wagers made by players still in the game , three cards will be dealt face up on the table.
All of them will be available and can be used by all players. Next we see the next round of betting start, as usual this will begin with the player to the left of
the dealer button who must either check or bet.
Next we see the start of the third round, in which a fourth communal card will be dealt by the dealer and yet another round of betting ensues.
At the fourth round we will see a
final community card dealt in the center of the table this is called the river and then yet again this will be is followed by another round of betting.
Players are then obliged to make up their best poker ranking hands using two of their four pocket cards and three of the board.
At all times in Omaha poker the final hands must consist of two pocket cards and three communal cards.
