John Guth, winner WSOP $5000 Omaha Hi Lo Event #36

A mini-marathon heads up match was required to determine the 2007 WSOP Omaha Hi Lo Championship. Robert Stevanovski and John Guth traded chips until just before midnight with each player affording considerable respect for the other. Equally matched chip stacks were the rule in the Omaha Hi Lo 2007 Championship. John Guth had his own cheering section that would whistle, clap, stomp and shout after every hand ensuring that no one would get any sleep this night.

The split-pot jamfest finally ended after Guth chipped away at Stevanovski stacks and gained the advantage; then used his new found edge to take all the chips. John Guth picks up the Gold WSOP Bracelet, Corum watch and $363,216 in cash. Robert Stevanovski settled for second and $218,456.

Congrarulations to the latest 2007 WSOP Champion, John Guth.
